Hey everybody! As you well know, September kicks off the holiday season for those of us who make things. As much as I love summer in the mountains, I so look forward to this month because it's the very beginning of Christmas, which I also love. 💞
First, the Schedule
The website will be open and accepting orders throughout the holiday season, but Gary and I will be taking time off during the last week of November (for Thanksgiving 🦃 and my birthday 🎂 ), so orders in progress at that time will be delayed a few days.
The last day we can ship and still reasonably expect a package to arrive before Christmas is Wednesday, December 20th, so that will be our last shipping day before we close. That means...
- The last chance to order MTO rings is noon on Wednesday, Dec. 13th.
- The last chance to order stock rings is 9am Monday, Dec. 18th.
- The last chance to order stock items (components, tools) is 9am Dec. 20th.
We'll be off for Christmas from Thursday, December 21st through New Year's Day, back on Tuesday, January 2nd.
Then the Pretty Things
We've just added a lovely and versatile new kitpack to the site.
They're tiny Wallflowers and they're gorgeous! They're perfect for charms, earrings, or pendants and one kitpack makes 10 (!) of them, so if you're doing shows, or you have a large Christmas list, this could be a way to make chainmaille items at a lower price point than is usually possible.
Update #1: And now we've added equally eentsy Vortex Medallions. I can't even tell you how perfect they are!
